New in the 0.4.0-SNAPSHOT development line — everything listed here landed after the 0.3.0 release and is not part of it. When the next release train ships, this page is frozen with it and restarts empty on the dev line.

Proven on Weld and Open Liberty — two new test modules run the Champollion jars, unchanged, outside the Vidocq runtime:
champollion-it-weldwith Weld SE 6.0 on a class path, andchampollion-it-openlibertyas a WAR on Open Liberty 26.0.0.10 (MicroProfile 7). In both, the application gets Champollion from the JSON-P and JSON-B APIs, and a JSON-B adapter is resolved as a CDI bean, with injection (JSON-B 3.0 §5). Neither module is published (champollion#19). On Open Liberty, keep the server’sjsonb-3.0feature off: with it,JsonbBuilder.create()answers with the server’s Yasson. Other containers. -
The Annotation API is
provided—champollion-apino longer shipsjakarta.annotation-api: no Champollion code uses it at run time (requires static), and a WAR now carries no second copy of a Jakarta platform API (vidocq-workspace#17).
